We're very excited to announce that our next show will be on Friday 16th June, and it's going to be extra special as we celebrate True Story's 4th birthday AND launch our brand new podcast while presenting our usual mix of fantastic stories told by people from all walks of life - this time on a FRIDAY NIGHT 🥳🎉

We're pleased to announce our free DRAFT workshops will return for 2023 - the first is on Monday 16th January at The Horseshoe Inn, London Bridge. Either arrive with a draft of a true story share out loud, get feedback, and meet other storytellers or simply come along to listen and help others develop their stories. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to last week's show at 21Soho and made it so special - it was our biggest True Story audience ever!

It's been a fantastic year for True Story and that's all thanks to you for supporting our shows, sharing your stories, and joining in our DRAFT workshops. We can't wait to share our exciting plans for 2023 with you!

There's not long to go until True Story returns to 21Soho on 28th November and we couldn't be more excited!

We've added two more brilliant storytellers to the lineup - award-winning comedian Maria Shehata and multi-disciplinary artist Sina Leasuasu. That's on top of our already sparkling group of storytellers. So, if you haven't done so yet, you can check out the full lineup and get your tickets here.

More DRAFT Workshops
Our free True Story DRAFT workshops have also been going fantastically - thank you to all that have attended so far. DRAFT is a space for anyone who wants to share and listen to drafts of true, personal stories in a relaxed setting and connect with others. It runs on the second Monday of every month for the rest of the year at The Horseshoe Inn near London Bridge. If you're interested in coming along, you can find more info and sign up for free here.

FREE Monthly DRAFT Workshops

Over the summer we've been having such a brilliant time with our free monthly DRAFT workshops and are pleased to confirm you can now book your place on any of the workshops for the rest of the year.

DRAFT is a space for anyone who wants to share and listen to drafts of true, personal stories in a relaxed setting and connect with others. Either arrive with a draft of a true story no longer than five minutes to share out loud, get feedback and meet other storytellers, or simply come along to listen and help others develop their stories.

The workshops take place on the second Monday of every month at The Horseshoe Inn, near London Bridge station. They're completely free to attend but prior signup is required - simply sign up here.

We've just announced the 15th August & 12th September DRAFTs, taking place upstairs at The Horseshoe Inn, 26 Melior St, SE1 3QP at 7pm. Either arrive with a draft of a true story no longer than five minutes to share out loud, get feedback and meet other storytellers, or simply come along to listen and help others develop their stories. Hello everyone,

We're excited to announce our new free monthly social workshops, called True Story DRAFT.

DRAFT is a space for anyone who wants to share and listen to early drafts of true, personal stories in a relaxed setting with a friendly vibe. Either arrive with a draft of a true story no longer than five minutes to share out loud, get feedback and meet other storytellers, or simply come along to listen and help others develop their stories.

The first session is next week on 14th July at the delightful Canvas Cafe in London. There will also be an online DRAFT via Zoom next month on 8th August. DRAFTs are completely free to attend but prior signup is required - simply sign up here. Please be sure to select the 'Storyteller' ticket type if you want to share a story!
