There are a lot of things happening now that school is back and fall is kicking off. Be sure to read everything to make sure you're in the know.

First off Youth Group nights are happening this Sunday. We'll be meeting from 6-8pm. We're starting a new series from RightNow Media called "The Heart of God" by Francis Chan. You can actually watch the videos yourself by clicking HERE, if you don't have access to RightNow Media reach out to our office and we can send you an invite to all of that content for free. This teaching series is in addition to games, worship, small group times, and a meal. So bring your students to be fed in every sense of the word to Sunday Nights.

Speaking of meals we need some more people to sign-up to bring the food. So many families and individuals stepped up in an amazing way over the past year by bringing a meal for our youth group. If you or someone you know can help us in this capacity please sign up. You can sign up by clicking the link HERE and sharing it with anyone who would like to help. This really means a lot to our students to have a place where they can get a meal.

We're also going to be having a parent meeting on September 17th for all families of both Youth and Children's Ministries. If you have anyone in your household under the age of 18, this meeting will be for you. It will be right after the second service and will be held in the Youth Room. This will be a great time to get questions answered and to meet some of the wonderful people helping in those ministries.

Hey all this one is a quick one.

Middle school camp Tadmor is happening this week which means that I'll be gone from Sunday morning to Friday morning. Because of this, there's no youth gathering happening this Sunday night.

When I do get back we're planning a super fun evening on August 6th, we'll be doing a Trivia night. There will be some prizes so be sure to have your student come and this is also a good night to have them invite friends because it's not a typical church night. I've found that sometimes those who are trepidatious about coming to a church service will happily come if they think they can win fun prizes.

This is also a reminder that our awesome leader Ben Shanafelt is leaving to pursue an education degree that will take him to Boston. He'll be with us up till August 7th so make sure that you get a chance to connect with him and thank him for his time here at NCFF. If you're not sure who Ben is, ask your student about the leader with the rubber ducks, they'll know.

I just wanted to send out an updated Summer Schedule for youth families. After many discussions and listening to you all, we're going to condense our summer programming and move away from Tuesday nights and focus on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings for the foreseeable future. So that means that a handful of dates and events have been moved to a time slot that seems to work better for many of you.

So all of that said, here’s an updated (for the last time I promise) schedule for summer. As always let me know if you have any questions.

Hello all, I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Here are a few things to keep in mind for Youth at NCFF.

1) Our Tuesday night programming is still going strong. We're going through a series on basic theology. Tonight we're talking about Heaven and Hell and next week we'll be looking at Angels and Demons. It's a good time to come and learn about something that is often misunderstood.

2) On Sunday mornings we're now in the Book of Romans. It's a challenging letter written by Paul that presents a thorough examination of the Gospel. I personally am really excited by this series as it's a super deep dive into the logical side of faith and righteousness.

3) Camp registrations for Tadmor are still open but will close on June 28th. We still have some spots available for both boys and girls, but it is first come first serve.

Hi all, I'm working on using a different (hopefully more useful) communication tool to help connect with NCFF Youth friends and family. There are a couple of cool things this will help me do like you can unsubscribe right from the e-mail itself as well as send a link to others to make sure that people are staying informed. you can find that link by clicking here. Please send this link to anyone that you think might want to know what's happening at NCFF for the youth. I'll most likely send out one or two e-mails a month. My goal is to help communicate and not overwhelm with a bunch of spam information. That said here's what you need to know.

IMPORTANT: NO YOUTH THIS SUNDAY NIGHT! It's Mother's Day and I thought that families might want to spend the evening together.

We're starting a new series in the Book of Romans this Sunday during the 11 AM service. If your students haven't been coming to the second service or heading into the youth room during this time, I'd highly recommend they check it out. My goal is to build community and create a true youth group and that can only be done if students are participating on a consistent basis. In light of that, I'd love to see your students come on Tuesday nights at 6 PM. We have dinner, games, Bible teaching, and small groups.

Sunday evening we're continuing to hang out until summer. When summer hits things will look a little different. We will continue to meet during the second service all throughout the summer, so no major changes there. I'm still in the process of figuring out some other changes, but I wanted to give you a preview of what to expect: (Note all of this is at NCFF unless stated differently)
