Every time I check sites I’ve mentioned in the Where To Post Newsletter and find a project I know about from previous conversations, I’m smiling a bit for myself. It makes me happy to see that people are trying the ideas out to see if they work for them. It also makes me happy to see all the support other indie hackers provide for each other. Together we are stronger!
With this in mind, I hope to see some more submissions and hopefully more attention to our side projects, I would like to introduce you to Owwly. Owwly is a product-discovery and indie-hacker learning platform similar to ProductHunt or SideProjects.net. In a similar way it allows you to post your project for another little boost:
After a one-click sign-up using social login you can head over to your profile:
Once you arrive on your profile, you are already halfway there:
Fill in the simple form and save it:
Done! That’s it. Probably less than 5 minutes from sign-up to submission.
You might want to add an update occasionally, to remind the Owwly users that your project is still there. This way you pop up on top of the News section on the homepage. Simply enter the two fields marked below and submit the post. Unfortunately, this doesn’t allow for markdown or links at this point, but still worth it to drive attention to your project:
Once again, click on “Post” and you are done. Simple as that.
I hope this helped you and your project. If you are new and missed out on the last edition about YourStack, Side-Projects.net and SideProjectors.com have a look now!
If you liked this newsletter you might want to share it with others. Here are some handy links to get started:
As you can see, I’m still working on the format and content. Got some feedback you would like to share? Just hit reply! I’m looking forward to your email!
