About halfway through the first of three performances that Chicago agitrock trio Shellac played here in Portland, bassist Bob Weston filled the time that his cohort Steve Albini needed to tune his guitar by doing what he always does: fielding questions from the audience. And, as ever, both questions and answers were equal parts sincere and goofy. "Can you recommend a band from the last couple of years that you like?" asked one skinny white male. "Well, I always say ELO is a good choice," replied Weston. "What does God look like?" asked another. Weston pointed to drummer Todd Trainer.
