Spend so much time understanding something, you know all the little nuances of it
There was this one tweet by either Nick C or Chris Olah that talked about:
there's this level of intuition you reach when you know something so well you know all the little nuances behind it.
For example: there's this really cool AI dude on twitter @theshawwn and he tweets about all that small nuances behind TPUs (think of them as Google's optimized GPUs for now) and all the backward functionality you can achieve if you tweak xyz settings / use multiple TPUs at the same time across regions / use various settings in various libraries to get same/optimized functionality.
It doesn't take a lot to get a very fine intuition on something, it just takes a little bit of passion, enthusiasm, and a reasonable amount of time.
