Hi there!

Thought I’d try something different for this grey Saturday during what feels like a neverending lockdown…

I’ve been thinking about holidays and travelling and the places I’ve been, because I’m finding it hard at the moment to imagine a world in which we’ll get to travel again (we will! It’s just that my imagination is failing me in this respect at the moment).

I’m wondering which past destination I could make another episode about for the lovely Fantasy Holidays in a time of COVID podcast (and you can submit an episode idea too, just email Joy and Barrie at fantasyholspodcast@gmail.com).

My first episode was about sailing through Greek islands in summer 2016.

For my next one, I’m torn between talking about Hong Kong or Vietnam, and I need your help choosing! Should I go for:

  1. Hong Kong in 36 hours (2016)- a press trip for the Daily Mirror

    OR

  2. Vietnam (2014) - the first time I went travelling alone in Asia (aka the realisation that strangers can be the best to travel with!)

Which one should I go for? Let me know in the thread below!

Also! I’ll share memories of each trip in the thread below, why don’t you do the same? Is there a holiday from your past you’ve been dreaming about in lockdown? Would you love to take that trip again? Tell us about it!

A thread like this is about building community, so feel free to comment on each other’s comments and generally be positive and lovely about each other…
