Stories Without Endings
The past months have been filled with interesting projects across the full spectrum of digital design. I’ve taken the first steps for a new media platform. I’ve been creating an app for the tiny niche of the local community of orienteering runners, and done more general interest work on a new open crowdfunding platform for companies and organisations. On a personal note, I’ve released an album(!) with music and the full range of art work and digital assets that goes with it these days.

A few words about AJOUR
I’ve decided to dare a few steps into the unknown with a new project. Based on an idea of a ‘Spotify for news’ with all written news and articles from all the Danish media for a monthly subscription fee, it seems like the right way to avoid big local media, Facebook and Google eroding our ability to access knowledge and news, without paying with both privacy or attention in an ad based model. The first step are about trying to see if there is any public interest in the concept, among readers and among the media outlets.
And the very first step is visiting the website at www.ajour.co.
And a few words about the crowdfunding project
Crowdfunding is a great concept for gathering community support and co-creation, fundraising and early stage proof of concept for new projects. So, it’s been a great opportunity to work with Smallbrooks on the UX and design of their new selfservice platform for companies and organisations.
Danish fin-tech company Smallbrooks have previously launched crowdfunding platforms for COOP Denmark and IDA, so a lot of strong experience go into the project, and I’m excited to see it launch publicly later this year.
