Hope y’all had a great week. I flew into Delhi from Kolkata for the final part of my top-secret work™, and I’m hoping my luck continues on for a couple more days. 🤞
More details soon, I promise! 😇
My first impressions of web3 — Moxie Marlinspike I’ve tried “There are people who dunk on Web3 for clout without understanding half the shit that they’re talking about. And then there’s Moxie who wrote probably the best case about Web3 that I’ve come across. And then Vitalik’s replies, makes for some good end of day reading.”
The Pragmatic Pragmatic Programmer — Rogério Chaves A review of the “The Pragmatic Programmer” book
How my website works — Brian Lovin I love what Brian writes about his website: “It’s an over-engineered playground where I can tinker, learn new things, test new tools, break all the rules, and just scratch that itch deep in my brain that wants to understand how the hell web software works.
Inclusively Hiding & Styling Checkboxes and Radio Buttons — Sara Soueidan “Checkboxes and radio buttons are two common examples of interactive form elements that we desperately want to have full control over styling but we don’t. So we’ve been hacking our way around styling them by hiding said elements with CSS and _visually_replacing them with pseudo-elements or an SVG image. So, when we attempt to hide the checkbox we want to style, we need to make sure that the checkbox remains accessible and interactive.”
That’s all for now, have a great week!
Stay kind 💜
