Try out new guitar options before anyone else!
Hey there!
It's been about a month since my last update, during which Tyler and I have been busy working on improvements and expansions to the band settings menu. I'm very excited about some of the new guitar options that are in development, such as additional strumming patterns, automatic bass runs, and more!
Before releasing this update to all beta users, I would love to do some "usability testing" in order to ensure we've made these new features as user-friendly and intuitive as possible. Which is why I'm writing you today...
Would you like to hop on a Zoom call and spend 20 minutes or so exploring these new features with us? You'll share your screen (camera is optional) and "think out loud" about your impressions as you go along.
Note: We're not testing you. Instead, we're looking for opportunities to make the app's interface better for all users, and this "usability test" will give us invaluable insight in this area. We're looking for folks of all skill levels, both musical and technical.
After the test, you’ll retain access to the new version so you can continue to play around with the new features. I can also offer you a couple free months of Strum Machine access for your time. 🙂
Click here to learn more and/or book a session. It'll be either me or Tyler on the other end, depending on the time slot.
If all the slots get taken before you get a chance to sign up, not to worry! This should be going out to public beta testing within the next couple of weeks.
Any other questions? Just hit reply. Thanks for being a part of the journey!
Luke
P.S. - Any feedback on these new strumming pattern diagrams? Old is on the left, new is on the right:
