Irregular Reveries 11: Copywriting Lessons From Prison
Hey,
I hope you're enjoying the summer and spending some time outside.
I've recently switched to working part-time for my client and managed to get Fridays off. I'm delighted with that since I'll have more time for writing and side projects.
This week's article
I've published another book summary this week. It's for Homo Deus. It's the Sapiens sequel, focusing more on the future. I liked Sapiens more than this book, but it's still pretty good.

I'm still reading "The Magic of Thinking Big" by David J. Schwartz. But, I've also discovered "Boron Letters" by Gary C. Halbert. Many consider it the bible of copywriting.
It's full of tricks for being more persuasive when writing marketing copy. The book's positivity is contagious. Especially since this book is a series of letters written by the author while serving time.
Here's the example of that from the book:
"We'll see. But one thing is true. This is the best place to write and get healthy I've ever been. I seem to get more productive every day.
Maybe, I'll have to commit some new federal crime every couple of years in order to get my books done!
Just kidding. Just kidding."
