Happy Friday, everyone! Welcome back to the Pretty Princess Club newsletter, where we hope to both inform you about Royal Vegas Retreat 2021, and inspire you and your journey in Lolita fashion and J-fashion. This week we’ve got an update on RVR 2021 ticket sales.
As a reminder, you can reserve your room onsite at the MGM Grand right now using our Passkey portal: https://book.passkey.com/go/sroy1121mg. Using our room block guarantees you a great rate as prices fluctuate, and it helps us keep our event financially viable!
Last weekend, we sold out of ticket reservations for Royal Vegas Retreat 2021. Once again - thank you all SO MUCH for your enthusiasm and support. If you purchased a ticket reservation this weekend, you will pay the remaining price on August 14. We will notify you via email from Eventbrite when the window opens.
Since then, a lot of you have asked: will there be more tickets in August? Right now, we don’t know for sure. We are waiting to see if there will be any cancellations in the meantime, we need to solidify our floor plans with the venue, and we need more time to understand the latest data around COVID and how that will affect the safety of our event before increasing the overall capacity. However, we will come to a concrete decision in early August at the latest, so please stay tuned for a follow-up announcement.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding. It means so much to us that so many of you are interested in our event. We are planning some new, inspiring longform content for our email list to spotlight the incredible people working with us. And to our paid email list subscribers - thank you so much for your support!
We hope you all make time to enjoy Purgatorio: Memento Mode, and have a wonderful weekend!
Call to action: as the summer heats up in the US, consider supporting an organization like Water Drop LA that distributes clean drinking water to unhoused folks in Skid Row in Los Angeles, and advocates for long-term, systemic solutions to water insecurity. Everyone needs and deserves access to clean water.
As the 4th of July approaches, talk to your friends, family, and coworkers about fireworks. If you live in an area prone to wildfires, don’t set off fireworks this weekend or anytime this summer. Many devastating wildfires exacerbated by climate change are actually started by human actions. Make sure those around you understand the risks and change their actions for the health and safety of everyone around them.
