In researching for this, I learned that "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots," The Flaming Lips’ most popular album, intentionally interpolated the beats and sounds of big pop artists like Timbaland and Nelly Furtado. So, the fact that it's my favorite album of theirs makes me a bit of a normie. C’est la vie.
