I saw this demoscene video making the rounds this weekend from Evoke 2022. It was produced on an IBM 5150, which was originally released in 1981. They were able to put this together on a 4.77 megahertz processor, while we’re wrestling to make a Playdate game on a 6-core 2.6 gigahertz machine. Outrageous.
