Weekly Recommendation: achNina
Hey there!
Here’s your weekly German media recommendation from Monoglot Anxiety. This time, it's the robot-building Twitch streamer and YouTuber achNina.
But first, a quick note from me:
Want to share your language journey on my blog? I'm looking for normal folks at all stages of language learning to share their stories on my blog this summer and beyond. Specifically, I want to share your stories with the first foreign language(s) you learned because YOU wanted to, and not just for school.
If you're interested in writing a guest post, just shoot me an email!
ach Nina
A Twitch-chat-controlled-dog-treat-feeding-robot. Enhanced furbies. A potted plant that curses at you so you won't forget to water it. A kitchen scale that tells you how to cook banana bread. These and many more creations await if you tune into achNina's Twitch and YouTube channels, which are full to the brim with entertaining contraptions and tutorials for how to make your own, similar creations using components like arduinos. Even if you're not into robotics (I'm not), the videos are entertaining, educational, and wholly original! I recommend them to anyone with even the smallest bit of a nerdy side. Nina also has a very cute dog!
Whatever platform you like
No matter how you like to consume your content, you'll find achNina videos there. She's on YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, to name the most obvious.
