Metrics are queen in business. You use them to measure deltas. You calibrate qualified output in an attempt to compare them, mangoes to mangoes. I like the 4 point scale my old job used to recruit. It's effective because there's no Neutral number. I found it useful enough to adapt to life.

It's the above criteria, but with activity replaced with person. Insert all the :grimace: emoji. It sounds brutal. But the truth is as an introvert, I'm bad at initiating and so are all my "4" introvert friends. Many of the folks who were a drain are better at asking for time. This framework helped take back my time by quantifying these feelings.
