Micael Widell Newsletter #55
Captain's log
Last month I didn't send out a newsletter, because I was travelling with my family in Japan, and simply didn't have time to write a newsletter. So this edition will cover the last two months in my life; October and November.
And it has been two good months. Besides the trip to Japan, which was fantastic, I have been regaining my passion for photography, which was briefly gone this summer.
As 2023 is soon closing, I feel very grateful that it has been the best year so far for my youtube channel, both in terms of views and watch time, and also in terms of money. It has been the first year ever, where the revenue from the youtube channel has been enough to pay me a liveable salary after taxes. And that is with almost no sponsored videos at all. I think I did like three sponsored videos. I prefer to keep them to a minimum.
I feel so grateful, and I am very much looking forward to keep improving in photography, keep improving my video-making skills, and just keep enjoying it all together with everyone who is watching.
Thank you for being along on my journey.
