Hey there 👋🏼
My name’s David Amos and I’ve been interested in mathematics for a while. I went so far as to get a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, and even spent three years working towards a Ph.D. until life circumstances shifted me away from academia.
I’m still deeply curious about mathematics and want to share my curiosity with the world. Join me as I investigate different mathematical topics in this biweekly newsletter. (For those, like me, that never know what biweekly actually means, I mean every two weeks in this case.)
We might get technical every now and then, but I’ll keep everything accessible to folks with at least a typical high school mathematics education from the United States. So you might need to do some arithmetic every now and then, but I won’t assume you know calculus!
Join me as I take a look at what mathematics is, what mathematicians do, and how mathematics can enrich our lives!
