It's Friday night and my cat is being oppressed
My cat, at this moment, is sitting on the banister rail and making really sad peep noises at me, because she decides that she wants to hang out in a specific room of the house and also really wants me and my wife to be there. And yet, we do not follow! Why, mother?
Honestly, I understand this, because I too wish for vague attention in this weird, lonely holiday season! So instead I guess I'm writing a newsletter named after a LOONA song.
I'm putting together a playlist of mildly depressed winter vibes that you can listen to here, although Spotify doesn't have Kara Jackson's xmas demos yet so I can't put them on it. That said, I recommend listen to both!
I've also got some sewing projects I'm planning to make, I'm considering embroidering a bunch of my clothes and accessories now that I know how to do it and am mad with power, and I'm trying to get back into poetry and also get started with creative nonfiction despite most of this year (and honestly, also last year) being a little bit of a creative wash.
Or maybe I'll just spend the winter with a cuddly soft cat sitting on my legs. Who knows.
