Webpack 2 went final, time for a book update View this email in your browser (|ARCHIVE|)
You might have noticed webpack 2 reached a final version (https://medium.com/webpack/webpack-2-2-the-final-release-76c3d43bf144) . It’s a major milestone for the project and it was great to contribute towards that goal. There’s still a long way to go, but it feels like the project is in a better place than a year or two ago.
The webpack book is progressing steadily towards a paper release. This time around I gave it a heavy editorial pass to eliminate grammar issues and to improve the language a notch. In addition, there’s more in-depth content and smaller improvements to push the quality of the book further. Most importantly I made the early portion of the book a little easier so it’s nicer for beginners.
Read the release notes (http://survivejs.com/blog/survivejs-webpack-160/) to learn more about the changes.
I hope you enjoy the new version. Have a nice weekend!

PS. I interviewed Gajus about a solution known asisomorphic-webpack (http://survivejs.com/blog/isomorphic-webpack-interview/) .
