Dr. Adam Nieman created this image in 2003, illustrating the volume of the planet Earth’s oceans and atmosphere (if the air were all at sea-level density) by rendering them as spheres sitting next to the Earth instead of spreading out over its surface. (Via Reinier)
I’ve read Rutger Bregman’s Humankind (De meeste mensen deugen) and loved it. Rutger shared an exerpt of his book, about what happened when six boys were shipwrecked for 15 months.

I wrote about Matt’s project in issue #23 and now he turned that roject into a Kickstarter to fund an artbook and prints. This is not his first btw, back in 2011 he created a book with 100 Illustrations of the Nike Airmax.
Not sure what this site is about, but the graphic design is AWESOME!
