Hi there!
On a personal note, my wife and I are celebrating 11 years of marriage today! :)
Here are quite a few potentially life-changing questions to ask yourself.
- What's one thing I'm grateful for?
- What's one thing I'm excited about?
- What's one virtue I want to exhibit?
- What's one thing I'm avoiding?
- What's the one thing I need to do?
- If I repeated every action from today for one year, where would I end up? Is that the place I want to be?
- What are the 20% of places, habits, people, and beliefs that are responsible for 80% of the "results," both positive and negative, in my life?
- Do I use my body well?
- What's the quality of my current diet?
- Do I get enough sleep?
- How well am I managing daily stress?
- What do I need to do to improve my ability to observe the world around me?
- Do I know what I want?
- What achievements would make me excited?
- What states of being do I want to experience each day?
- What am I afraid of?
- Is my mind clear and focused? What has my attention right now?
- How do I perform best?
- What do I particularly enjoy?
- What am I particularly good at doing?
- What environments do I find most conducive to doing good work?
- How do I tend to learn best?
- How do I prefer to work with and communicate with others?
- What is currently holding me back?
- What do I need to be happy and fulfilled?
- How am I currently defining "success"?
- Is there another way of defining success that I may find more fulfilling?
- Am I living within my means?
- If I could only own 100 things, what would they be?
Most of these come from The Personal MBA by Josh Kaufman. An excellent book, and not just for business types!
BUT, as a bonus, here are some excellent questions for getting feedback from others:
- How do I "show up" to you?
- What do you think my strengths are?
- In what areas do you think I can improve?
- Where do you think I sabotage myself?
- What's one thing I should stop doing that would benefit me most?
- What's one thing I should start doing?
These come from The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, another great book!
OK, that's all for now! I hope you have an excellent weekend.
