New for 4/18: TinaCMS , Why Flag Parameters suck and much more!
Hey there, 👋
It's been an extremely busy week!
- I finished the TinaCMS introduction video and which went live.
- I wrote a blog post about Why flag parameters suck and Using jsconfig for faster nextjs development.
- I wrote somewhere around 500 lines of code for Collabstream.
Let's get into the content for the week!
An introduction to TinaCMS
In this video, I showed a tiny part of TinaCMS and how you can integrate it into your already spun-up Strapi CMS.
This has been one of my favorite JamStack tools in a long time, it's so powerful that you can handle your whole website through it, allowing you to edit it on the fly.

Using jsconfig for faster nextjs development
I wrote a blog post this week about using jsconfig which is derived from the tsconfig files. It allows you to create absolute paths to your folders so you don't have how deep you are into your file structure
Check it out in the link below!

Why flag parameters suck
Flag parameters are the worst thing in the universe at least in my opinion. I think they make code harder to follow and read. So I wrote a blog post that shows a couple of ways to get rid of those pesky flag params:

What have I been consuming this week?

🎵 What am I listening to?
So I don't listen to music very often but I am a huge podcast nerd! So this week I have been listening to :
