5/30 - Livestreaming is back, more Clerk content
Hey there! Wow what a week, or two.... Sorry it's been two weeks, I've been enjoying my new role so much I forgot last week I didn't write anything!
Livestreaming is back
It's been a long 10 month road to get back to livestreaming, to be honest I've been planning this for months and wanted to get it right this time.
So what does the schedule look like?
Tuesdays: 3pm Thursdays: 3.30pm
What am I going to be streaming!?
Tuesdays are going to be solely focused on looking at new technology or building applications.
Thursdays are going to be a variety stream(Interviews, coding, hanging out) but with a focus on interviewing other developers. Currently I have four amazing developers coming on to chat. Starting 6/10
Make sure you are following so you don't miss it

Twitch is the world's leading video platform and community for gamers.
Adding Clerk to a NextJS application
I published a video this week on adding Clerk to your application with self mounted components.
This allows you to keep everything inside of your application versus it going out to Clerk's hosted website.
Check it out in the link below
What Have I been consuming?
Television
So this weekend I got the one shot vaccine so I have been watching a lot of television instead of doing anything.
- The Startup (Netflix) which used to be on Crackle but was added to Netflix lately. Imagine what holywood would do with the idea of a startup in 2016.
StartUp (TV series) - Wikipedia
- Lucifier (Netflix)... I am so sad that Lucifier is coming to an end, for a second time! We are about half way through the new season and it's as fantastic as the last.
Watch Lucifer | Netflix Official Site
Bored with being the Lord of Hell, the devil relocates to Los Angeles, where he opens a nightclub and forms a connection with a homicide detective.
Books
I have been reading 3 book currently:
- Atomic Habits
- No Rules, Rules!
- The Witcher Book 1
I don't have much to say about them currently, I like to finish before I review them. The Witcher I have read about 10 or 15 times so if you like fantasy and can forgot the games and tv show its amazing.
Well until next time!
