Hey G! - Early March Development Update

Hey G!

Greetings everyone! This is Bryan Fillmer from Hey G!

First, thank you for subscribing! This has been a fun project already, and it has been great to see the interest in what I am building.

OpenAI News

Some good news hit the internet this week, OpenAI officially released their APIs for ChatGPT.

Prior to this I was using davinci for the original application concept, anticipating that ChatGPT would be available before I was ready to go live.

Needless to say, I’ll be switching over to the new API moving forward.

Hey G! Development News

Earlier this week I finished up the first round of UI/UX work on the application. Some screenshots of this work can be found on the website, please check them out!

These mockups were done in code, not using something such as Figma. I will be able to spend the next couple weeks combining them with my existing proof of concept work, and the new API endpoints from OpenAI.

The goal is to release a small workflow video in the middle of March demonstrating how things will work at launch.

Outro

That’s it for this update! As ever please reach out with any suggestions or thoughts over on my Twitter, or just reply to this email, those go straight to me.

Have a great weekend!

Bryan
