What's going on with this Grub? I have no idea... I like it though!
I've been making slow progress with all things foofaraw as of late. foofaraw[+] has it's format just about locked down. I feel like it's getting close to a place where I can merge it back into foofaraw and officially launch it.
Buttondown launched a new feature where subscribers can choose and adjust their own tags. This will be huge for allowing people to choose what they actually want to receive: foofaraw, weekend edition, [+].
There are still some details I need to figure out in regards to [+] though—most importantly frequency, pricing, and the relation to the website. I'll probably post a high-level recap of [+] on the site once a week as a promo for it.
Speaking of, the stand-alone foofaraw website is coming along nicely—I'll probably switch the domain and have it "officially" launch with [+], but continue to tinker with it in the background.
Obviously Consumption Gumption launched and I have three more in the bag already. I'm trying to diversify the participants a bit though, as I've realized it's all men so far. Not for lack of trying (although my giant list of poetential interviewees is domincated by men...) I've reached out to a few women, but haven't heard back. So if you know someone (that's not a guy) who might be interested...
Lastly, I've gotten a few of the banners I've commisioned for foofaraw back and am just waiting on a couple more. I'm excited to roll all of those out together when they are wrapped up. I had each of them be wildly different which is exciting, but I am a bit worried about what to do with the screenshots I include in each section... They use the same pixelated background as the banners today, but if each section is different... we will see...
If the timing works out, I should be able to launch the site, [+], and the banners all at once and alongside Buttondown's enhanced tagging features to boot. It's been a long time coming...
