Should Mark Zuckerberg Own the Metaverse?
You cannot believe how many people do not want Mark Zuckerberg to own the metaverse. But he is going head long in that direction because Facebook is one of the only companies with enough servers to run a global alternative universe.The metaverse is “going to be a big focus, and I think that this is just going to be a big part of the next chapter for the way that the internet evolves after the mobile internet,” Zuckerberg told The Verge’s Casey Newton this summer. “And I think it’s going to be the next big chapter for our company too, really doubling down in this area.”

Where aren't workers coming back? Restaurants and the gig economy. The one with low wages, lousy shifts, and dangerous work. For years, franchises and corporates have relied on hourly low wage workers. Now they've chosen not to work. This means many business models have to change. We need to bring wages back and withdraw from the gig economy. I know many Uber drivers have not come back; I can tell by the service. It’s more difficult to get an Uber.
