It's My Birthday!
Guys, I don’t know how I got here, but today is my 80th birthday. So if you’re shopping for me, send me $KARMA from Rally.io. All the instructions on how to buy, if you aren’t technical, are on the site.
I’ve already got everything I need, but more $KARMA never hurt anybody and it makes you eligible for Rally Rewards.
I’m trying to do some low key educating about crypto currency and social tokens here, because they are becoming more and more common.
The cool thing about $KARMA coin is that it hasn’t gone up too much yet. You are coming in on the ground floor. Some of the Creator Coins are already taken over by “whales,” –large investors– and their prices have become ridiculous. Although I can’t call these coins an investment, because that would run afoul of the securities laws, if you see how much some of them have already appreciated, you can get a good idea of why to buy.
And if $KARMA doesn’t appeal to you, buy someone else’s coin.
Now here’s the other news:
The novel coronavirus’ spike protein plays additional key role in illness - Salk Institute for Biological Studies
LA JOLLA—Scientists have known for a while that SARS-CoV-2’s distinctive “spike” proteins help the virus infect its host by latching on to healthy cells. Now, a major new study shows that the virus spike proteins (which behave very differently than those safely encoded by vaccines) also play a key role in the disease itself.
OK. So here it is. Covid is a vascular disease. Boy, were we treating it wrong in the beginning. But that’s not the important point. The important point is that Chinese and American scientists have collaborated on this, and I’m sure many, other papers. When it is important, we need to work together. I know that sounds simplistic, but…
https://unherd.com/2021/05/tribalism-has-come-to-the-west/ When a Somalian tells us America reminds her of her tribal clan, what should we think? If you really take the time to read her article, she talks about how her mother thought people from another tribe could be identified by their frowns. And soon Somalia descended into Civil War, and Americans went “tsk, tsk, tsk” and wrote them off as primitive and tribal. But today, where are WE?
https://news.yahoo.com/east-jerusalem-sheikh-jarrah-see-172625832.html People in East Jerusalem are facing eviction from Israeli forces. Yet many of the families have been living there since 1948. Under the guise of gentrification, the boundaries keep changing as Israelis need land for settlements. In America, it is typical to support the Jews, and thus Israel. This is a trap IMHO. More discussion has to happen. Moving the capital of Israel to Jerusalem was a ham-fisted solution by Donald Trump and Jared Kushner. We do need to get further into the details of this struggle.
