How's Everybody's Mental Health This Week?
I've been doing more writing lately. For a while, I had sort of a block, which other people experienced as a Covid-19 pandemic. I experienced it as a loss of the desire to say anything to anybody. A psychologist would probably call it a depression. Anyway, it's over, and here's what I think is the future of news.

Something interesting to the nation is taking place in Arizona, where the grown-ups are fighting the toddlers over the State Senate's audit of election votes. It was a bad way to proceed from the get go, and it is exposing the state to the kind of ridicule we haven't seen since Sheriff Joe and S.B. 1070. And before that, the failure to observe the Martin Luther King holiday. Some of the Republicans actually realize that this does nothing but damage to us politically and economically, but the far right people who are interested only in winning their hyperlocal primaries are not shy about sacrificing everyone else to their own desire to win.
