Summer-time (May 9 announcements)
Hi everyone,
Summer is just around the corner! This is exciting for all the usual reasons, but also because it means that some of our ministry plans are about to launch. Please take a minute to review these announcements, mark your calendars accordingly, and pray for God’s blessing on our efforts to serve him.
I am hoping to resume a more regular rhythm of pastoral visits. You can book a visit using this online tool (by the way, you can always find this link at the bottom of our announcements). If none of those times work, feel free to reach out to me directly. Most of the time, one elder and I will visit together. Over the summer, Jonathan will likely join many visits as part of his internship.
Sincerely,
Pastor Goligher
The Lord’s Day

The evening service is at 5:00pm. Here is the evening order of service.
This Week
Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday evening at 7:15pm, on Zoom (again, the Zoom link is always at the bottom of these emails).
Women’s Bible Study is on Thursday evening at 7pm, on Zoom. We are studying the prophet Habakkuk. Please read the Teaching Chapter (pages 143-157) and complete the discussion questions on pages 158-159.
Looking Ahead
Teens Discipleship: Next Sunday (May 16), after the morning service, Pastor Goligher would like to meet with the teens who will be part of our summer discipleship practicum.
New Baby Celebration: Everyone is invited to celebrate the birth of Chloe Edith Goligher, which will be held after the morning worship service on May 23, under the tent. Plans are being made to provide socially-distancing-acceptable light refreshments. If you wish to contribute to a group gift, please contact Melissa Harvey.
Summer Pastoral Intern: Jonathan Bartlett, a student at Greenville Seminary, will be joining us from May 30 to August 29, Lord willing. He will be preaching quite frequently, teaching some Sunday school lessons, and joining in other ministry work through the week.
Vacation Bible School: Please mark your calendars for the mornings of July 12-16. Look for information coming soon about registration — please share this information with friends and neighbors who might like to bring their children. In the next few weeks, we will also start organizing volunteers, so stay tuned for opportunities to help!
