Issue 2145
Happy Monday!
For my eagle-eyed readers, you may have noticed that we skipped an issue last Monday. I have been travelling and in different time zones so I was just too busy and tired to get to it. Obviously, as a result, most of my random thoughts this week will be travel related.
Jet lag (I learned today that it is two separate words and I always thought it was just one) is the extreme tiredness felt after traveling a long distance over several time zones. I will be testing these tips on the way back home because I am still exhausted and it's been a whole week. Step two is taking melatonin supplements and was not an option for me because I learned last week that you cannot buy these in England(!) I will however say no to all soda and coffee on the flight back, I think that was a big mistake on the way over! More water and less caffeine certainly cannot hurt.
I am just puzzled over the discrepancy of Covid requirements. I had to take a pre-flight test in the 72 hours before my flight from the UK to the US but I don't have to have a pre-flight test on the way back. However, I will have to take one within 48 hours of landing. Which is different again if I'm flying from the UK to EU. As if planning travel details wasn't enough of a headache.
I'll have to keep it short and sweet for this one! I hope everybody enjoyed their Halloween!
