Go - Append behavior in option values using flag package
Hello everyone, been a while. Do you even remember you subscribed to my newsletter? You probably don't. I don't blame you, since my last email was more than 3 years back.
Anyway, so today I want to share my latest blog post which I just wrote - Go - Append behavior in option values using flag package. I have been learning a lot of the Go programming language over the last 15-20 months and this blog post describes something I learned earlier this week.
Another recent post I encourage you to check out is The "go test" command, os.Stdin and testing interactive input.
Next, couple of updates.
Updates
I am excited to share that I have my new book coming out in December (next month!). It's called "Practical Go", and I will share more once the book is released. It aims to be a book which you can pick up after you have learned the basics of Go and then learn to build robust command line applications, HTTP clients and servers and gRPC applications.
Besides the book, I have also created (and a few more are in the pipeline) Live Projects for Manning targeting "Advanced Go beginners". It's my belief that these will help you implement something in Go from end to end, to apply the things you have learned:
- Create a Secrets Sharing Application and Client in Go
- Create a Web Application Scaffold Generator in Go
Thanks for reading.
