January/February Posts
It was a slow few months of blogging for me, as I was largely occupied with a job search. However, that search is now over, and I’m excited to say that I’ll be joining The Open Philanthropy Project as an Operations Associate.
With the job search over, I can get back to writing posts in earnest. I hope to have about two per month, chronicling my journey through the Western canon along with anything else that I find interesting.
In January, I wrote about using Dune Analytics to make a dashboard on NFT prices, which was pretty fun. I actually ended up using GPT-3 to help me learn SQL as part of that project, which felt like I was truly living in the future.
In February, I wrote about the first few works of Shakespeare that I read as part of my Reading the Western Canon series. I didn’t have too much unique to say, largely because I didn’t very much enjoy these first few plays.
In the next month, I’ll write a few more meaty posts on more Shakespeare. If you want to get those hot off the press, feel free to subscribe to my RSS feed. Otherwise, you'll get them in your inbox like this one.
All the best,
Chris Webster
