Hello there! 🍸
Here we are with the second update of 2023. These months
have been are really intense, so if I can keep the pace of two short stories per year… It would be good!
This new short story is called “Saw Things” because that is essentially a quote from one of my favorite songs by Pearl Jam. Initially, the tale had to be named “Eschaton”, as the plot suggests. It would have been too obvious, though.
When I get the ideas for a story, at first I like them because they are simple. Then things become complicated because I feel that I must create a convincing background — other than the characters, but I tend to minimize them. I hope to not having dwelt too much. There are also slight references to The X-Files, a couple of Disney movies, Watchmen, Doom, and… H.P. Lovecraft. 🐙
In this case, I immediately found the synopsis intriguing: what would happen if everyone happened to recall other lives than theirs?
I hope that this fiction will catch you as much as I enjoyed writing it. Here is the link to read it: Saw Things.
