Post-Doctoral Research Fellow - Nutritionist/Biologist - Robert Holley Center for Agriculture and Health, Cornell University. The Robert Holley center is seeking a postdoctoral level scientist capable of working at the interface of agriculture and nutrition. This research will involve studies of iron (Fe) nutrition from pulse crops (eg. beans, lentils, peas, cowpeas, chickpeas). As pulse crops such as dry beans are rich in flavonoids, this research will also study how seed coat flavonoids from pulse crops (and possibly other foods) influence Fe absorption.
