Issue No. 02
Happy Thanksgiving Week y'all. This week, I'll be traveling to California to visit my parents for a few days. Let the turkey-eating commence. 🦃
The whirlwind of the past two weeks has finally come to a close. Phase 1 of the work filming project is over, ending with a flight to Rochester then Philadelphia (to visit Camden), then a car ride from Newark to Troy, and back down to NYC via train. Ten schools in two weeks. That's probably a record. I definitely didn't expect to travel to these regions only eight months after doing it the first time.

Micro Tour 7, Part 2 - If you read Part 1 of Micro Tour #7, good news! Part 2 is up and ready for your eyes. It finishes the ride from Nyack to the campsite. I didn't include the return because, to be quite honest, it was mostly just pain and gratitude for my friends who rode back with me. I hope you enjoy!
Movies
While traveling, I got to watch a few movies on TV. I recommend only two.
- **Glengary Glen Ross** - With a top-notch cast, the second viewing of this movie may have been better than the first. Don't let the lack of place sets fool you into thinking it's a nothing movie. While most of the film takes place in the office of this salesman crew, the energy, the anger, the desperation felt by the various characters is enough to make the room become bigger than it is. Highly recommend.
- **Goodfellas** - Not much needs to be said here. This movie is a classic and will always be one.
- **Fanatastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grendelwald** - I have no clue what was going on this movie, but I watched it, start to finish because I've always been curious about the first movie (which I still haven't seen). Utterly baffled and do not recommend.
Books & Online
- **Faithful Place** by Tana French - is the the third installment in her *Dublin Murder Squad* series. It follows Detective Frank Mackey, a supporting character in French's previous novel, as he solves a double murder in his hometown. If you like crime, French isn't a bad read.
Listening
- (Mostly just stuck in my head) **High High Hopes** because our brains have been utterly broken.
'Til next time.
