Next reading group!
Thanks to all who attended our last reading group on unions & revolution – while it sadly conflicted with a different political event that meant most of our regulars couldn't join, we had a productive discussion in our smallness anyway.
The next workplace reading group will be on the topic of SW, SWers and SW rights. While the positions of various left groups on the topic range from condemnation to support, the majority abstain from active participation in SW struggles.
With this reading group, we hope to address some important questions: what is the nature of SW in contemporary capitalism? What is the potential of SWer struggles to transform the way we treat sex and gender? How should revolutionaries participate in the SW movement? How can SWers be brought into the wider working-class movement?
The readings are chapters 1 & 2 from Molly Smith & Juno Mac's "Revolting Prostitutes":

All welcome! As always, meet in the foyer of the Abercrombie Business School at 6:30PM.
NB: Both SWers and non-SWers will be participating in the discussion. We ask all participants to respect each other's confidentiality and keep any personal disclosures shared strictly private.
Keep track of the most updated details by marking "attending" on our FB event, and share it with people you think may be interested.
May you all have a wonderful mid-to-late October,
