📬 VueBLR—December Newsletter 🎄
Heya folks! 👋
Before we begin, I’d like to wish you all a merry Christmas and happy holidays on behalf of Vue.js Bangalore! 🎅🏻🎄
We hope you all had a great year. VueBLR had an awesome 2019 which was blessed with a lot of great meetups, with talks delivered by many amazing speakers and attended by a wonderful audience. We also had the very first VueDay (click here to see the talks) and witnessed great talks and participation. Thank you all for being a part of the community and for being there with us every step of the way. We can’t wait for 2020 and we hope you will be there with us for the upcoming journey!
🕰 Past Meetup: #20 Testing
We had our 20th meetup at Kormangala hosted by Hasura and had two great talks. Aditya Agarwal spoke on visual testing in Vue.js applications. The talk showed why visual testing is important and could help catch potentially dangerous bugs that other testing approaches might not and showcased Cypress and Percy that can aid with this. Chandrashekhar talked about the importance of component testing, why it matters for front-end applications and how to initiate a TDD workflow for your front-end projects starting now.
Both of these talks are recorded and are available for viewing on YouTube:

📺 Revisiting Tests and How to Sneak Test Driven Development Into Your Work by Chandrashekhar
🔥 Upcoming Meetup: #21 Endgame
Our 21st meetup, Endgame 🔥, is definitely one you shouldn’t miss! We got three awesome talks from three awesome speakers who are going to enlighten your minds.
First up, we have our very own Rahul Kadyan who is a Vue.js core-contributor, demoing the upcoming Composition API in Vue 3 and dispelling all the fears surrounding it. Next, we have Kathick Ramachandran who will show you how you can build fast, static sites powered by GraphQL and Vue.js with Gridsome. Last, but not the least, we have Musthaq Ahamad who will show you how you can build cool geospatial visualizations with the help of Vue.js and Deck.gl library and show some cool demos built with the power of these two.
Whew! Christmas is coming early for Vue.js developers in Bangalore! 😉
