Hey Everyone! We will be meeting on ZOOM this upcoming Wednesday, 1/27 at 6PM PST.

I’ve done a bit of work to make this meeting a bit different from past ZOOMS. We’ll have a more formal format with drawing prompts to make this a streamlined hour of drawing. Two 5 minute segments, two 10 minute segments, and a 20 minute segment to finish. In between each we will pause for a moment and share our work.

Taco Bell Drawing Club Members!

Due to recent Covid-19 news I’ve made the decision to pause our in-person weekly club. While this decision does not come easy I believe it’s best for the health of us all to limit our exposure.

Last week we had new members and a great evening of drawing back at Taco Bell! It was exciting and while I’d love to keep it going I think a pause will be best heading into the holiday season.

and while it did come with some preparation / work on my end I’m interested in whether you all would like to join digital / streaming drawing clubs in the future.

Taco Bell Drawing Club Members! It has been great getting the club back going these past few weeks and the turn out has been awesome. Thank you to everyone who has showed up and drawn!

Since we’ve lost some daylight due to daylight savings I’m currently in the process of exploring other venues. There will be no club this week as I work out some alternative options. I’ll also be keeping an eye on Covid-19 numbers locally as there has been some concern as cases rise.

Hey Friends!

I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer, staying cool and finding a bit of time to draw!

As promised this is an update / check-in for making plans into the fall. I’m currently spending time with family and working remotely on the east coast. I’ll be back in Long Beach in late September (later than expected!). This club is all of ours so I do not want to prevent you all from meeting before I return if there is an interest to do so. E-mail me if you’d like to get together sooner than October and I’ll assist in sending e-mails / promoting on social any future meetings.

Friends! Thank you so very much for showing up last night in Long Beach to draw with your neighbors. I don’t know about you but I felt a powerful and creative energy in the room, at a Taco Bell!

Hopefully you had as much fun as I did. We were lucky to have such a great turn out the 2nd time around! If you missed it we’ll be planning another one some time soon. I haven’t yet decided whether to make this weekly, monthly, etc.. I’m open to feedback and thoughts on how we can make this a sustainable thing for the community.
