Hello there |FNAME|!
It’s my birthday! Paul Jardine Web Design & Development is officially five years old this week and I’m looking forward to eating cake!
As with any milestone, this is a good time for me to look at how far I’ve come and reminisce about the great people I’ve met and projects I got to work on. But it’s also a time for looking ahead at what’s to come … watch this space!
If you want to stay in touch with me between newsletters, I can be found sharing web-thoughts on Twitter (https://twitter.com/pjwebdesign) and life pictures on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/pj_webdesign/) .
Until next time,

WIX SEO FIX
Could I get a Wix website to the first page of Google simply by improving the content? Spoiler: I did, and I’ll tell you how!

5 YEAR LOOKBACK
Much has changed in the world of web development and design since I launched my business in 2014. Here are some of the biggest shifts I’ve noticed.

** Boost your website’s SEO
I love running my SEO for beginners workshops in Tandem Coffee House in Stockport. The next one will be held on Tuesday 25th June, and you can now book your tickets (https://pauljardine.co.uk/seo-workshop-for-beginners/) (there are just two spaces left).
There will also be a workshop on Tuesday 30th July if you can’t make the June date.
As usual there will be no more than three other people with you in the group, and we will get practical so at the end you will have plenty of ideas to put into practice.
Charlotte from Creative Wilderness attended the workshop previously and said: “I learnt so much! Paul was an incredible teacher and got me all excited about Google Analytics and SEO. I honestly feel Paul will make such a difference to people’s businesses.”
For more info about what we cover in the workshop, see here (https://pauljardine.co.uk/seo-workshop-for-beginners/) , and read about how the first one went down on my blog (https://pauljardine.co.uk/blog/launching-the-beginners-guide-to-seo-workshop-for-small-businesses/) .
Building the Stockport Old Town website
You probably know by now that I’m really passionate about Stockport and user experience.
So it will come as no surprise that I loved being involved in creating a great online user experience for visitors of the Stockport Old Town website. It was my job to ensure the mobile site worked well and achieved the objectives.
Here’s how we did it. (https://pauljardine.co.uk/work/stockport-old-town-website/)
