Hey there!
Another week has passed by! Whew! Time flies!
I’m finally starting to see some more gaps where I can spend some time writing, so hopefully a blogging article is coming out soon! I know, I’ve been saying this over and over.
In all honesty, jumping right into blogging without a plan wasn’t the greatest idea, but with the time constraints I’ve had to make this website and start blogging before applying to jobs there wasn’t a lot of room for me.
Still, when I think about it now I probably should’ve written a collection of blog posts before actually getting into it. Or maybe I should’ve made the website long ago so I could focus on blogging right away. Agh! 😆 No point thinking about it now huh!
I’ll be trying to do exactly what I’ve just said though. Now that I have some more time I’d like to start writing a whole bunch of articles so they are ready to be posted later on.
Hope this wasn’t too heavy! Just a small piece of advice for those who are planning to start blogging! Don’t be like me if you don’t have to! 😁
Yes, two of them! Since my current format makes it a little weird to link two things at the same time for the same subject, I decided to make it a featured one instead!
I really like looking at game interfaces for inspiration whenever I’m looking to make a design that’s got a bit of a gamified look, or simply when I need to make games! Honestly, there’s just a lot that can be learnt from game interfaces that you can incorporate into a website.
Both Interface In Game and Game UI Database are places worth looking at! Both of them present game UI about the same way and sometimes one has games that the other doesn’t.
Some of my favourite interfaces would probably be that of Assemble with Care and Nier: Automata. The latter has actually inspired my current portfolio website a bit.

I’d like this discussion to be for those who can’t seem to figure out how to find inspiration for new projects. I see this question being asked so often yet I haven’t yet encountered any articles that address this. (feel free to share them if you have some! 😉)
Here are the questions:
Feel free to answer the questions by leaving a comment on my dev.to post or simply by replying to this email!
That’s it for this week! Hope you enjoyed this newsletter. If there’s any feedback you have for me, feel free to send me an email!
Stay funky and don’t stop coding!
