There's a lot of waste in the world
I run a small publishing company and through this I send maybe 200-300 packages a year. It amazes me that, just by saving packaging I get from other things I buy, that I basically don't need to buy anything but envelopes to send 200-300 books out in the post.
Bubble wrap, cardboard, boxes, peanuts, newspaper, packing corners, etc. There's so much of it packed in other things I buy that I have enough to, more or less, never pay for packaging materials.
Isn't that amazing? What a ridiculous world we live in.
Sometimes sitting, thinking about my day, I just can't believe how much deliberately manufactured wasted there is and how, with a little creativity, reuse is entirely possible.
If you've got a bunch of cardboard or packing materials, feel free to drop them off here. They will get reused for sure.
