In the next week, we'll look at why and how meditation helps us become less anxious and more balanced in our busy lives, and feel the benefits it provides us.
Meditation is not something we can do wrong.

In fact, it's something we can learn to see more and more how it's a means to help us move beyond the limitations of our habits of judging ourselves and creating thoughts about what we expect from life to be.
What do we expect from life, anyway? Our state of mind is always guiding us to what we are present, to our emotions, to our self-talk. When we allow silent spaces to enter our thoughts, we become more settled, less anxious, and more aligned with our day to day moments.
Animals are great examples of resting in their present moments. Whether they're with us in our homes or in nature, they embody the mystery of life and accompany us, immersed in their pure beings. Lately, a friendly ladybug, amidst my indoor plants, has kept me company. Kind of sweet!
When we take the time for quiet meditation, our preoccupations, our intentions become quieter allowing us to explore a graceful strength that opens up our hearts and points us to our true and healthy existence especially when things seem to weigh us down.
It's internal attention that lets us be aware of a deeper sense of being.
In the quietude of your own mind and being, there is a different level of accomplishment. You see that you do not lose anything of value. But rather, appreciate your eternal being in this presence.
