Conformity?
#NoDistinction #DistinctionWithinDistinction
Dear friends,
What is our understanding of conformity? What is no distinction between you and the other you, you'd like to be or become? And one more, what is a distinction within distinction? Do these thoughts seem obscure enough for us to clearly imagine? It has definitely been tough in the past, but all so revealing for me, in present times.
These thoughts also lead one to wonder about the world of equality, discrimination, expectation, and assumption. Can we experience equality within our true individuality and still stay bare within this expansive universe?
It seems healthy to face these types of questions if they do arise and more so, inhabit our lives. And without complications, the currents, the signs, and transformations are what matter the most, not so much the conformities.
Soren Kierkegaard has once said, “Where am I? Who am I? How did I come to be here? What is this thing called the world? How did I come into the world? Why was I not consulted? And If I am compelled to take part in it, where is the director? I want to see him (her).”
Taking the role of host wherever you are, is what I've heard and recently did again by a good friend and teacher, David Weinstein.
In a world full of vastness and fineness, the idea of who we are can be clouded by an illusion created by our own minds, if we set out selfish boundaries and expectations. What if we included all that's happening as part of that place where we stand, a place of nothing less or more needed?
Curious about what comes, to what is all part of this distinction and equality has been knocking on my heart, lately.
There are always going to be feelings and emotions of joy, sorrow, grief, anger. These waves are individually our own and yet felt through us in others, as they come and go. No predictability, no linear path, there. Just our hearts opening up to ourselves and others, more and more.
To times of fruitful outspreading and joyous discoveries, even while challenges remain, isn't it lovely to make time to connect! As the season has already shifted to colder temperatures, we tend to rest, reflect and enjoy the company of each other by nurturing our bodies and minds with our warmth. Thank you for willing to share and be around.
Until next time,
Best & warm wishes, Sylvia xoxo.
